Oct. 7, 2013 – The Neurotic Parent’s Guide to College Admissions: Strategies for Helicoptering, Hot-Housing and Micromanaging with J.D. Rothman
J.D. (Judy) Rothman is an Emmy-award winning screenwriter who satirizes the college admission mania in her book The Neurotic Parent’s Guide to College Admissions. Having taken a shocking college tour with her elder son, she started a blog about the insanity of the college process. Her blog was discovered by the Director of Admissions from Kenyon College, who used an excerpt from Rothman’s blog in her book I’m Going to College, Not You (2010). Having survived a second college tour with her younger son, Judy Rothman offers sanity-saving, logical, real-life suggestions to parents who are starting the college process with their teens.
