Navigating High School Stress: Strategies for Supporting Mental Health & Promoting Life Balance
In a high-stakes, high-pressure culture, increasing demands on teenagers can lead to unhealthy stress, anxiety, feelings of uncertainty, disengagement, and even physical or mental health symptoms.
How can families best support the emotional and academic needs of their teenagers when expectations – from media, school, or even parents – may have unintentionally damaging effects?
Join us to hear strategies from Margaret Dunlap of the nonprofit Challenge Success, who will share ways to support your high schooler by:
Fostering a healthier home environment.
Engaging research-tested tools for supporting teen mental health.
Learning methods for increasing their resilience, creativity, and overall well-being while supporting their academic achievement.
